A series of activities helps students appreciate Canadian culture today through understanding how European settlers and Aboriginal peoples interacted with one another. The website Confederation for Kids: Introduction to Confederation explains Canada's development as a nation and the new distribution of power and authority. New Brunswick students can learn about the pros and cons of New Brunswick's joining Canada. The website Aboriginal Perspectives helps students understand issues related to Canada’s Aboriginal peoples.
